Cookie Policy
How PurePlate Pro uses cookies, which cookies are placed on your device, and how you can change or withdraw your consent at any time.

What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to keep you signed in, to remember preferences, and to provide information to the website owner. Similar technologies such as local storage and pixels are covered by this policy as well.
Cookie categories we use
PurePlate Pro groups cookies into the following categories. Non-essential categories are only activated after you give consent through the cookie banner or the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer.
- Strictly necessary — required for the website to function. They enable sign-in sessions, security protections, checkout, and remembering your cookie preferences. These cannot be switched off.
- Functional — enable optional convenience features. Customer-support chat remains available regardless of your optional cookie choices.
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site. PurePlate Pro does not currently load any analytics services; if one is introduced in the future, it will remain off until you enable this category.
Cookies used on this website
The table below lists the specific cookies and similar technologies used on PurePlate Pro.
| Cookie name | Category | Purpose | Expiration |
|---|---|---|---|
| better-auth.session_token | Strictly necessary | Authenticates your session after you sign in and keeps you signed in across pages. | 7 days, or when you sign out |
| better-auth.session_data | Strictly necessary | Stores session metadata alongside the session token to validate authenticated requests. | 7 days, or when you sign out |
| jv_* (Jivo chat cookies, e.g. jv_visits_*, jv_close_time_*) | Customer support | Remembers the state of the live customer-support chat widget, such as whether you have opened or closed it. | Up to 12 months |
| pp-cookie-consent (local storage) | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie consent choices so we do not ask again on every visit. This is not a cookie; it is a browser local-storage entry. | Persistent until you clear it |
How to withdraw consent or change your preferences
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, and it will take effect immediately:
- Click the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer of any page, adjust the category toggles, and select Save My Preferences, Reject All, or Accept All.
- If you are seeing the banner because you have not decided yet, choose Customize to open the same preferences panel.
- Changing optional cookie choices does not close support chat or reload the page.
- You can also delete the pp-cookie-consent entry from your browser's local storage to reset your choices; the consent banner will appear again on your next visit.
Third-party cookies
PurePlate Pro does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The Jivo customer-support chat widget remains available regardless of optional cookie choices and uses technologies to operate the support conversation. Payment providers may separately use necessary technologies in their hosted payment environments.
Payment service providers may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies within their payment environments to process transactions, perform authentication, prevent fraud and ensure payment security.
